How much time will I spend in residence at MIT for both the dual and non-dual degree programmes?

For the dual Masters degrees, you will generally spend one regular semester (either Fall or Spring) in residence at MIT with the exception of the CE students who spend two regular semesters and a Summer term at MIT. If you are admitted into the MIT Masters and NUS/NTU PhD degree or direct PhD degree, during the PhD candidature, you can spend up to two semesters in residence at MIT, either as continuous or non-continuous stays. The maximum number of semesters allowed during the PhD candidature is two.
