How much unpaid carer’s leave is an employee entitled to?

0

Casual employees (who are not entitled to paid personal/carer’s leave) and employees who have exhausted their paid personal/carer’s leave entitlement are entitled to two days unpaid carer’s leave for each occasion when a member of the employee’s immediate family or household requires his or her care and support because of a personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergency. The unpaid leave can be taken in a single unbroken period of up to two days, or if the employer and employee agree, in separate periods.
