How often are the banner adverts recreated?
AdvertSolutions benner adverts are refreshed at maximum of once per minute, but images are only checked for their “relevance” when an advert is viewed, thus no undue load is put onto your shopping cart server. This means that when a Dynamic Advert banner is viewed, if it has been more than one minute since your shop details were checked, we will check to see if any changes have happened to your site. If your shop details or the products to be advertised have changed, the banner will be regenerated promptly. For changes to show in your adverts, the advert image must be viewed (which will schedule the check) and then the image refreshed a little later once the advert is regenerated. Changes take place immediately if you select a different template from within the AdvertSolutions website. Our goal is to minimise the load upon your server while also creating responsive adverts too.
