How to balance my eclectic hippy/drag queen inner soul with (Ikk!) “country” decor?
Suggestion: Don’t try. The average compromise decorating scheme is a disaster looking for a location. And I can almost guarantee that it will find what it’s seeking if you try to balance your eclectic hippy/etc. soul with something that you loathe. Even if you can only do a small amount at a time because of budget constraints, buy the best quality you can and that you and hubby both like. The end results may take awhile, but I think you’ll be much happier with your own style instead of an illegitimate (substitute the B word) combination of someone else’s taste.
