How to care for a cactus?
I love Cacti. Most are easy to care for. The important thing to remember is that they need to be kept on the dry side. when you water make sure the soil is completely moistened. Then wait until its dried out again to water. During the winter i might only water them once. Most need alot of light though. They need at least a southern exposure or a greenhouse to have nice specimens. If they get all their requirments they will flower. Cacti have very beautiful flowers and its definetly worth growing them. Some types I have grown are opuntia and barrel cactus. You can also buy these cacti that have been grafted together so you can enjoy 2 different species. I would also look into succulents because many of them look like cacti.
