How to configure my D-Link Router?

Step by step….?? Why did you buy it if you have NO CLUE? Here goes anyway: 1st: Call your ISP. 2nd: Tell them you just bought a router. 3rd: They’ll help you set it up. If they won’t then try this: Take the ethernet cable out of the back of the computer and plug it into the internet port on the router. The take the extra ethernet cable and plug it from the numbered ports on the router to the computer where the cable from the modem was plugged in. So: Wall jack > cable to modem > cable from modem to internet port on router > cable from numbered port on router to computer. Then unplug the modem and the router and leave them unplugged for about 15 seconds. Then plug in the modem and let it start up for about 10 sec. Then plug in the router and see if you can get on the interent. Hopefully there is no extra configuration you have to do but most likely there is information from your ISP that will need to be entered into the router. Every ISP has different info, so that is as far as I can
