The formulas for calculation of micro step velocities and micro step acceleration are part of the TMC428 data sheet (please refer section ”pulse_div & ramp_div & usrs (IDX=%1100), R[Hz], DR[Hz/s], …). Two Excel sheets and are available to illustrate these calculations. The sheet named ‘tmc428_rhz.xls’ calculates physical units for a given set of TMC428 parameters. The sheet ‘tmc428_rhz2va.xls’ calculates TMC428 parameters for a given set of physical units.
