How to display characters in LCD module of PICDEM2 Plus demonstration board?

0

An LCD display with two lines, 16 characters each, is connected to the 28 and 40-pin devices. There are three control lines (RD4:RD6) and four data lines (RD3:RD0) in ROHS version of demonstration board. (Incase of non-ROHS demonstration board control lines are on port A pins RA1, RA2 and RA3). A 5 kilo-ohm potentiometer may be installed into R20 to adjust contrast on the LCD. If this is done, R5 and R6 need to be removed .Also note that LCD module in PICDEM2 Plus works with 5vdc design only with 28pin and 40 pin programmed devices.
