How to get Internet Access?
No usernames or passwords are required for direct internet access. Internet access is available via wireless access available throughout the station and in the cabins (please contact Pam Fashingbauer if wireless is unavailable in any of the cabins). Wired access is available in the station and in select cabins. How to get signed up on the server? If you want access to the fileserver or general use computers, contact Pam Fashingbauer to be issued a username and password. To access files stored on the server, follow the instructions below depending on your OS. Windows: 1) Right click My Computer -> Map Network Drive 2) For home directory: Under Folder, type 198.150.174.10/home/(your username) 3) For groups directory: Under Folder, type 198.150.174.10/groups 4) Click Finish The drives should now show up in your My Computer area. Mac OS X: 1) While in finder, click Go -> Connect to Server 2) For Home: Under Server address, type smb://198.150.174.10/Home/(username) 3) For Groups: Under Serv
