When in Chinese input mode, type in pinyin letters and tone key, then use Right-Alt+e to input the toned pinyin. See figure. Note: Tone keys are the left-most column of keys on the normal keyboard, representing the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th tones, respectively.
