The quickest and easiest way to make a cookie cake is to make the cokies. It sounds more complicated than it really is but it is true. After you make the cookie dough spread it in a pan instead of dropping it into individual drops on a cookie sheet. Not a deep pan because it will never cook. Spread in in a layer about 1/2 inch thick and bake. Then when it is done, you can frost and decorate it.
