Wine is the most important ingredient for Sangria and hence, one should opt for a good quality wine while making one. Small amount of brandy is also used in making Sangria in order to enhance the flavor of the drink. Simple Brandy Sangria Recipe Ingredients • 1 bottle of red wine • 1 shot brandy • 1 lemon, cut into wedges • 2 cups club soda or ginger ale • 1 orange cut into wedges • 2 tablespoons sugar Directions Take red wine in a large sized pitcher and set aside. Remove the seeds from the orange and lemon wedges and squeeze the juice out of them into another bowl. Transfer this juice into the pitcher containing wine along with the orange and lemon wedges. Put in the brandy followed by sugar and stir for a while. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and allow it to chill for the whole night.
