Slice it in half. Spray with a bitter non-stick spray and bake it until tender @ 350 degrees. About a half hour or forty five minutes should do it. Let cool then take a fork and shred it. It will come out like long strings. Drain and then it is perfect for that spaghetti sauce you made to go on top. If you cut it up too much for faster baking you will not get the long strings of squash you might want to serve with Spaghetti Sauce.
