if you talking about the second half of the f23 housing then if you havent yet done this then there is a metal cover on the rear side, remove it. You will 2 big ass bearings, get a mullet and a big as socket to match the outer ring of the bearing have friend to help you pull the rear housing up while tapping on the bearings outer rim with reasonable force

I’ve got my f23 (m86 cobalt transmission out i have broken syncros) and i am trying to take the tranny itself a part i took all the bolts on the clutch housing and tried to pull it off but it won’t come of at all i tried everything can some one tell me what i am missing out.
