2 to 3 inch high form around all existing concrete.role or brush old concrete with concrete bond glue.pour cement 3000 psi pump mix.small rocks in cement not large.screed cement level with top of forms 2-3 inches above old concrete.run an edging tool around all forms.sprinkle aggregate on top of cement until you cant see cement no bare spots.get a concrete bull float or hand float and finish the rock into cement until you cover the rock with gravy from the cement under rock as you float the rock cement will rise up float until you cover all rock with gravy.kick back and have a couple beers. when cement begins to get hard couple hours .make sure its firm !.take your garden hose and soft push broom lightly spray with water not to much start to swept the gravy off continue until aggregate is all clean using more water when needed.after a week acid wash everything and apply concrete sealer 2 coats thats it.
