How to parallel park correctly?
Here’s how I do it: -Cut in as soon as you can. -Keep the wheel turned until the rear cone, next to the curb, is in the center of your rear window. -Then Straighten out the wheel and back straight up, toward the cone in the rear window, until the front bumper is clear of the front outside cone. -Then cut the wheel the other way to bring the front of the car in. Keep the wheel turned until the car is parallel with the curb. -You should be close enough to the curb at this point so you can straighten the wheel and center the car between the cones. Once you graduate from cones to real cars, use the rear car’s passenger side headlight to center in the rear window. You are going to get close to the cones, that is why you use cones, and why you need to practice a lot. Once you get it down, it won’t be a problem – until you get a new car!! Good Luck!
