It is easy to password protect a folder in Windows XP. First, navigate to the folder which you wish to protect. Right-click on it and click properties. Then click advanced button. Under compress or encrypt attributes, check the box encrypt contents to secure data. It may ask for the administrator password. Then click Ok. Then, log off and login again.
