Your Trakker rear iron sight is fitted with both an elevation Vernier scale and a windage Vernier scale. Many people do not bother with the verniers and are quite happy to count the turns and clicks to establish range and wind, much the same as using a scope. The scale are there as a visual aid. Once you have “zeroed” your rifle, you must zero your scale plates. To do this, loosen your scale plates and align the “0” to the “00” on your main scale and your “0” on your peep carriage. If you understand minutes of angle (MOA) then you can simply read them off as you move your sight up and down or left to right. Each click on your sight is 1/4 MOA. 1 full revolution is 2 1/2 MOA. This is only correct on a 30″ sight base. You will have to make allowances for different sight bases. The markings on your adjustable foresight are there as `reference of position` only.
