how to take care of a rabbit

Rabbits get scared very easily. The cat will probably scare it at first, but your rabbit can get used to it. Just don’t let them out together. Make sure your rabbit has a good sturdy cage with bedding. Do not use pine or cedar shavings, it can harm your rabbit. If your cage is big enough get it a liter box! Also, give your rabbit something to chew on, pieces of cardboard, insides of toilet paper rolls, egg cartons, and etc. Since your rabbit is one years old, you should mainly feed it alfalfa hay, veggies, and some pellets. Fruits should be given as treats. Let your rabbit run around in a ‘rabbit proof’ room daily: get the cat out out of the room (if it is a inside cat) cover up all your wires and cords, and watch the rabbit do happy kicks! P.
