You can create a network folder. My Network Places – > Add Netowrk Place -> Follow the instructions on screen using the other computers IP address. Or you can create a Shared Folder. Dumping any files you need to be viewable on both computers. When connecting two computers directly without using a switch/hub you need a crossover punch cable. (There are two types of LAN cable are available straight through and crossover). Then you need to set the IP of both computers manually. To set the IP go to Control panel > Network Connection. Right click on the network adaptor > Properties > double click on TCP/IP Set the first computer’s IP as IP address: 192.168.1.2 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default gateway: 192.168.1.1 And click Apply/Ok on all windows On second computer just change IP address to 192.168.1.3 Then your network connection will be established. A window will open, click “share this folder” check box and click OK. Then the file /folder/drive will be shar
