Yeah, you need to put water in the bottle warmer, then there should be a little dial on the front you can turn. When turned a light on the front of the bottle warmer should light up red. When the water has reached its ideal temperature the light will either turn off or turn green. This does not necessarily mean that the milk is at the desired temperature though.
