How was the Sovereign Bank branch in Bellingham robbed?
Police are searching for a tall black man in his mid twenties for robbing a Sovereign Bank branch in Bellingham. The man who threatened the teller with a gun without taking it out was able to walk back freely. He is yet to be apprehended. The robbery took place in a Hollywood movie style. The robber gave a note to the teller, saying he had a gun and was there to rob the bank. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber walks away with it, starts his car parked nearby and speeds away. Now the police have asked the people to help them trace the robber. Detective John McLaughlin says, “We have pictures of him on surveillance at another bank in Medway about 15 minutes earlier”. Video surveillance captured the suspect leaving Sovereign Bank and running toward the Rockland Trust Bank across the street.
