How well do Berkeley Optometry students do on the various parts of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) examinations?
There are several ways to describe NBEO test results. Perhaps the simplest is to show the pass rates for each of the three parts of the examination given each year. The first three NBEO Results Tables show these data for Berkeley Optometry students in the years 2000-2003. Average data for all students in the nation are also shown. Students who fail a part of the NBEO may retake it, so there are also data on the “ultimate pass” rates by the time of graduation.
