How were toll amounts determined?
South Bay Expressway’s toll schedule was determined based mainly on two factors: • Extensive research, including interviews, discussions and surveys with our future customers about appropriate toll levels. • A financial model to repay the $635 million cost to build the road, plus the millions of dollars required to operate and maintain it over the next 35 years.
