How will control of the Crystal Palace building be shared? Will all of it be controlled by the developer?
The control of the New Crystal Palace would be through the New Crystal Palace Charitable Trust and the chosen operating company and the requirements set out in the brief and documents which govern what is possible and what is not in the New Crystal Palace as outlined above. The details have to be worked out but in simple terms the goal is the central third of the building with its central barrel vault with full public access whilst the two naves would be used for commercially operated hotel, ski slope and other leisure and life style relate activities. People will therefore be able to walk from Crystal Palace Parade through the central barrel vault of the New Crystal Palace into Crystal Palace Park and enjoy all of the amenities available en route.
