How will parents know when the Severe Weather Child Care RSVP line is available to take reservations?

0

When severe weather is imminent, an e-mail will be sent to staff that have pre-registered approximately 72 hours prior to the expected severe weather event to inform you that the RSVP line is open to make reservations for your child. We will also post this information on the main Severe Weather Child Care web page. If you do not have e-mail or Internet access, please call the RSVP line periodically to check whether the RSVP line is open. You can refer to the wallet card which provides the RSVP phone number (681-RSVP or 681-7787) and the steps you need to take to reserve space for your child when severe weather is imminent. You may leave a message up until 11 p.m. each night of the severe weather period to reserve space for your child for the following day. Reservations will not be accepted after 11 p.m.
