How will the bus schedule accommodate additional travel time to the temporary Blacksburg Middle School location?
The MCPS transportation staff worked diligently to ensure that most students travelling to BMS will have bus rides of less than an hour. We anticipate being able to provide routes to parents in the Blacksburg strand by August 4, 2010. Transportation guidelines in Virginia do not speak to the length of time that a student may be on a bus. Our anticipated bus time for BMS students is comparable to that of other students in the district.
