How will the Framework improve the integrity of the designation process?
Establishing pan-Canadian criteria combined with a risk managed approach will ensure that all institutions are measured by a common standard. Through the Framework, the label ‘designated institution’ will regain meaning in Canada as an institution that has met certain minimum standards and can therefore instill a high level of confidence in students regarding their education investment.
