How will the Natura area be taken into consideration in building the Labbacka railway tunnel and Porvarinlahti railway bridge?
The entire railway line will have effective noise barriers. The bridge will form a water-tight trough so that rainwater will not run off and the pillars will be located on land so that they will not affect the flow of water in the bay. Overhead lines will be fitted with warning balls to keep birds from crashing into them. Bridge construction will cease during the nesting season from March to July.
