How will the San Juan Plan Revision use the work of the Study Groups?
Study Group perspectives will help gather a better understanding of the ways in which people relate to public lands resources. The planning team will use each individual’s viewpoints to develop an array of concerns and opportunities, values and beliefs, and various ways of addressing public lands management issues. The planning team will use this information to ensure it is addressing the appropriate planning questions and to better answer them. It will help us to design alternative ways to manage the Public lands and, in the end, to select a meaningful alternative.
