The TexShare collection will provide additional items to libraries that already have holdings with netLibrary. The TexShare collection of over 5,000 titles (over 9,000 items) is available to you and your customers in addition to the items you already hold. For example, if your library already holds an eBook copy of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Dealing with In-Laws through netLibrary, your patrons now have access to two copies of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Dealing with In-Laws the one you own and the copy TexShare owns. The Electronic Information Working Group will be determining a process for selecting future eBooks. If you have ideas as to how this process can be set up to maximize coordination with local holdings and benefit to all libraries, please contact a member of the working group.
