How will workers at the Sheet Metal Training Center located just north of Sigma Chemical access their facility?
We are concerned about them having to use our property us keeping our property secure. The Sheet Metal Training Center will use the same route as Sigma-Aldrich. From eastbound I-64, they should be re-routed to Jefferson Ave., then Scott Ave., then Ewing Ave., then to Spruce St. From westbound I-64, Ramp T to Market St., then Ewing Ave., Etc. 9. Will Metrolink riders be able to walk west on Spruce across Compton down to the Metrolink station? Foot traffic throughout the work site will be discouraged for safety reasons considering we will be working around the clock. If unavoidable, the public can walk westbound on Spruce St. by around the south “Road Closed” sign. 10. Will there be any differences on the bridges in width and length and height? The Compton Bridge will be more pedestrian friendly, with the sidewalks widening from 5’0″ to 8’5″. The clearance under the Market St. Bridge will be increased from the current 14’7″ to 16’0″. The vertical clearance of I-64 underneath Compton Ave.
