Will Metrolink riders be able to walk west on Spruce across Compton down to the Metrolink station? Foot traffic throughout the work site will be discouraged for safety reasons considering we will be working around the clock. If unavoidable, the public can walk westbound on Spruce St. by around the south “Road Closed” sign. 10. Will there be any differences on the bridges in width and length and height? The Compton Bridge will be more pedestrian friendly, with the sidewalks widening from 5’0″ to 8’5″. The clearance under the Market St. Bridge will be increased from the current 14’7″ to 16’0″. The vertical clearance of I-64 underneath Compton Ave.
