How would i go about feeding the homeless?
Using the $600 to help someone else is a wonderful idea. 60 pizzas say as a treat for kids or teens in a shelter or in an after school program for low income kids or just donating pizza coupons to be given to families in need who might love a break from mac and cheese and dry beans is a very nice idea. Your local pizza place might even agree to match your donation or at least give you a good discount. There are also ways to make your money go a lot further and help even more people. A foodbank is like a wholesale warehouse where different helping agencies can get food at like 5 – 20 cents a pound to use in food help ministries, shelters,summer feeding programs for kids who would get free lunch or breakfast during school yr but won’t have that help during school vacation, senior centers, etc. You could donate th the foodbank directly or you could find 2 or 3 helping programs near you g
