How would I map a Local Area Network?

. Your wording of this question is vague, and several of US are not clear on what you are asking. If you want to join your computer to a Local Area Network, you need to join each PC to the workgroup of the same name, and map the drives of each to the one(s) you want all to access. Each one to be accessed will be a different drive letter. Then you have to assign user permissions if you want to control who can do what on the network. Go to your instructions in Help. Right click START button > left click EXPLORE selelction > when the C:\*** window comes up in the top toolbar select HELP > and go to INDEX and type in Networking. Also type in MAP DRIVE and follow instructions.
