Zyxel P-660R-ELNK – Configuration for Bridge Mode Note: The above info is not for the Zyxel 660R-D1 Router as they have their own FAQ entries. NOTE 1: With the Zyxel P-660R-ELNK in Bridge mode, you must either have another device (a Router or your PC) to use that can be configured for PPPoE authentication. Either a Router that supports PPPoE or a PC running PPPoE Software like XP has built-in or an older version of Windows (Win2000, WinME, Win98, Win95) will have with WinPoET installed as either of those will work when properly configured. NOTE 2: To use Bridge Mode in the P-660R-ELNK you must follow the instructions exactly and use the Wizard page as directed. Then you can hook up a Router or PC to use once it is configured for PPPoE. NOTE 3: The new DSL & Home Phone (LPV) service bundle uses ADSL2+ only and you will need the Earthlink supplied ADSL2+ modem to connect unless you have your own ADSL2+ ready Modem.
