I am thinking of buying an Audi S4. Are they any good?
I’ve had my S4 for 18months now and would recommend them to anyone. Previous car was an A6 2.8 which was my first Audi. This is the first time I’ve ever bought the same make of car a second time. Given the good experiences with both cars I’m pretty sure that my next car will be another Audi. So…..Good points: Phenomenally well made – just rock solid Beautifully engineered – everything well thought out as only the German’s can do. Incredibly quick and manages to go in any gear. The Sports setting on the auto box just adds to the fun. It’s a great Stealth car – doesn’t really look that special until you floor it. A great 4-wheel drive system. I was driving in the snow last year and it never missed a beat, unlike the BMW’s which were abandoned at the roadside – I kid you not. Don’t get an M3 if you envisage driving a lot in bad weather. It’s got a great soundtrack from that V8 + exhaust, though not as good as the new RS4. So far, very reliable. It’s been in for a regular 20,000 mile ser
