Go onto “www.webmd.com” they have a tool that will help you calculate the best time to concieve. I used it since the begining of the year and now I’m 5months pregnant. It worked for me!! Give it a try and good luck to ya sweetie!!!

The middle of the month, half way between periods is when you ovulate. You are furtile 4 days before that day and on the day. Male sperm can last between 2 – 8 days, some more some less. So go for it about a week and half after your period (depending on your cycle). Best not to think too much about it unless you are having trouble conceiving as stress can be very unhelpful for your body. It can take longer than people think especially if your body is used to the sperm (i.e. taking the pill rather than using a condom) as the body actually attacks it as if it were a virus. It’s true what they say – you are more likely to get pregnant by strange sperm! If you have been using condoms so far it might make it easier. Give it a few months before you start getting too uptight about dates, times and temperatures (who knew it could get that complicated!!) and a few more months before seeing a specialist. As I said, it can longer than you think……. Good luck!

Stop by your local drug store and pick up an ovulation test kit, they’re inexpensive and very reliable. I”ve used the Answer Brand Kit for Walgreens and loved it, so easy to use. Good Luck!

okay on a average cycle like 28 days, ovulation occurs on day 14, if your cycle is longer, how you calculate is that you usualy ovulate 14 days before your next period is due, if your cycle is 35 days long ( like mine) you ovulate on cd 22. what i also use is temperature charting, and checking your cervical mucus, it should be clear and stretchy ( like an egg white) when you ar fertile! i also use the following website, it gives you a summary of your fertile days! i use http://www.askdramy.com/ovulationcalc.ht… good luck!

you might not always ovulate at the same time, this I know from experience and this is why I recommend using an ovulation predictor kit. last month I ovulated on cd17 instead of cd14 and this month so far I’m on cd11 and just got my positive opk today which means I should be ovulating around cd12-13. missing your ovulation by a day or two is a BIG deal because the egg only lives about 24 hours. you should keep your bases covered if you have sex every other day faithfully though, as the sperm live up to 5 days. good luck!
