A. Okay. It all depends on what the line starts with. You have a choice of 3 key values; 0, 0.0, or a numeric value greater then 0.0 . • If the line starts with 0 the legend aml forces a line return from the previous line with a default line spacing of 125% the point size of the text • If the line starts with 0.0 the legend aml reads this as a line spacing value (in points) of 0 (zero), i.e. stay on the same line • If the line starts with a numeric value greater then 0.0 the legend aml reads this as the line spacing value (in points) • If the line starts with a numeric value greater then or equal to 0 followed by another numeric value, the legend aml reads this as the line spacing value (in points) followed by the line indent value (in picas). There have been cases where when a DESC line includes a typesetting command i.e. !FNT, the legend aml has problems creating the desired line spacing and indenting. You will have to manipulate the spacing numbers to achieve the proper result.
