NO. Even though SystemC is an extension of libraries of C/C++, learning SystemC does not require you to learn C/C++ first. If you read through some example programs early on to understand the structure, you should be getting used to programming construct quite quickly. Don’t worry if you have few hours spent on learning these, it would help you gain confidence in time.
