I get a drive not detected message from my CDR software. How can I make my Plextor compatible with it?

It’s not a matter of making the drive compatible, it’s the software that needs to be updated. Many software manufacturers work with drive manufacturers well in advance of a new model release, so their software is already compatible, but others do not. In that case, the software will need to be updated… usually from the software manufacturer’s website.
