I have a Celeron, Duron, or MAC PC processor. Can I use it?

0

Although Celeron and Duron processors are adequate home-use computers, they are often unable to adequately run some of the advanced engineering, design, and mathematical software that NJIT students may be required to use in a technical university curriculum. They do not meet our current minimum specifications. Regarding MACs, much of the technical software students will use is made for windows-based operating systems. If your MAC computer meets or exceeds baseline specifications, it is acceptable. If you have one of these computers you may not be able to run the full suite of NJIT-provided and curriculum-required software.
