I don’t think that there are enough people that read these forums for you to make a match, but some places you may want to contact are: • Post an ad in your local papers. Most lost and found pet ads are free. If there are any distinguishing features about the dog, don’t post them in the ad and if anyone calls to claim the dog, make sure they can accurately describe the feature. (maybe collar color, a scar, a marking, etc.) Unfortunately, it is not unusual for someone to call and claim a dog from an ad who is not the dog’s owner, only to sell the dog to a research facility or puppy mill. • Post found dog signs around where you live, especially at stop signs and intersections. • Talk to people and kids around your neighborhood. In the summer, people spend a lot of time outdoors, and someone may know the dog. • Contact the veterinary clinics in your area. The vet may have been contacted by the owners when their dog came up missing. • Call your local shelters and let them know you have fou
