These instructions are courtesy of courtesy of the GreenFleet team, a Canadian car sharing company: Open the Excel document with the following info in this order: – First name, Last name, Email address (3 columns) Make sure there is no data in excel except for this. Save files as Name.csv on your desktop (or another location where the file is easy to find). Open notepad and the open the saved file (Name.csv ). Make sure that you only have: First name, Last name, email address (info only). Save changes if they were made. Next, open the address book in Mozilla and select Tools -> Import. If you are using Thunderbird, select Tools -> Import directly from the main program window. Import as an address book, file type: CSV. Choose the csv file you previously saved on your desktop. Complete Importing. After that, the file (given name.csv) will be imported to your address book. To send emails to multiple recipients, do the following: – Compose the message – Go to address book –
