I have a merged student and staff netname however my Alcor account is a student account. Do I need a Live@Edu e-mail?

Student and active* employee accounts were not affected by the transition to Live@Edu. * Includes ‘on leave’ and ‘retired’. If you have not yet merged your student and staff netnames you can do so here.
