A. Yes. However you can do this only with single instance portlets, (portlets that can be added only once) such as Change Audit portlet. If you add a single instance portlet again to the same view, the configurations are retained. However, if you add a multi-instance portlet (portlets that can be added more than once) such as RSS, IFrame the configuration settings cannot be restored.
