I have got a new computer. What must I do in order to get VQLog running on the new computer?
You must install the complete version into a new folder of the new computer with the SETUP program (if you don’t have it you can download it at http://download.vqlog.com) • Check that you can start the program from the new folder without problems (obviusly the log will be empty) • Close the program. • Copy ONLY the LOG.MDB, CONFIG.MDB and other Log or Configuration files you could have created, from the old computer to the folder you have just installed VQLog. (replacing the existing files) • If you had used the Addressbook then also copy back the DIRECC.MDB file • Run the program again. Your old configuration and Log should appear now. The way you copy the files from one computer to another depends on the configuration of you computers. Some possibilities are: – CD Rom – Network – Diskette – Etc.. If you use a diskette and some of the files doesn’t fit into it then you will have to compress the file with WinZip, WinRar, etc… If even after compressing the file it still doesn’t fit a
