Not always. In our pursuit of continual product improvement, we periodically upgrade data logger hardware or release new data logger models. Unfortunately, these changes may not be recognizable by an older version of Spectrum Software and can result in difficulties. For that reason, each Veriteq data logger that you purchase includes a note indicating which software version it must be used with. The safest choice is to always upgrade to the latest version of Spectrum Software.
