A. Most cases are subject to immediate income withholding. This means that an order is sent to the noncustodial parent’s employer as soon as employment information is known. If you have a case open for services with a Regional Child Support Enforcement Unit and know where the noncustodial parent is working, please provide that information to your caseworker. If your case isn’t open for services, you may apply for services or report employment information to the income withholding issuance center.
