You can install the backup file from the old handheld to the new handheld. Each time you perform a HotSync, your SplashMoney database files (PDBs) on the handheld are copied to the Palm Backup folder on your desktop: C:\Palm\\Backup\ (Mac: /Home/Documents/Palm/Users//Backup). Each account is stored in a separate database file (PDB) with the letters SpMn- preceding the account name. For example, if you have an account called Checking, it will be stored as SpMn-Checking.PDB in the Backup folder. Locate each of these files in the Backup folder of the old handheld, double-click it to launch the Palm Install Tool, select the new username and click OK. Now perform a HotSync, and the SplashMoney backup files from the old handheld will be installed on the new handheld. Note: You will also want to install the following files to the new handheld: SMCategoryList-SpMn.PDB, SMClassList-SpMn.PDB, SMPayeeList-SpMn.PDB.
