I just posted a message and realized that I made some embarrassing spelling errors, or said something goofy. How do I edit my forum post?

To edit one of your posts, click on the subject line of the post. At the end of your post you will see 4 choices in little tiny letters–“view parent–reply–reply with quote–edit message” Click on edit, make your changes, and save. However, I hope that you won’t worry too much about making perfect posts. When we realized that we were all spending an inordinate amount of time worrying about this, we agreed on a BC pledge. I cant remember the exact pledge, but basically it goes something like this: We, the active posters of the BookCrossing forum, do hereby agree to accept the fact that we are all intelligent people who know the correct grammar and spelling of our language. From this point forward, all errors noticed in members posts will be dis-regarded or assumed to be typos or an example of our brains and typing skills not working in conjunction. Errors are never to be considered indicative of a persons level of intelligence.
